Whitewater Creek Nature Area

Fayette Forward, in partnership with Fayette County and Georgia Power, is excited to share this beautiful new nature area with our community.

Whitewater Creek Nature Area is located on the northeast corner of Veteran’s Pkwy and Eastin Road.

This thoughtfully designed community space offers residents and visitors new ways to connect with nature, enjoy recreation, and experience the beginning of Fayette’s expanding Countywide Path System, ConnectFayette.

Multi-Use Path

Approximately 1,000 feet of new concrete, ADA accessible, 12-foot-wide multi-use path will anchor the park-perfect for all types of users. This area serves as a model for future segments of ConnectFayette.

Soft Surface Trails

Peaceful natural trails will wind through the landscape, offering a quiet place to walk and enjoy Fayette County’s beautiful environment.

Observation Areas

Spots to sit and to view nature and Whitewater Creek will provide opportunities for relaxation, photography, birdwatching, and taking in the scenery.

This new park represents a meaningful investment in quality of life, outdoor recreation, and the future of connected green spaces in Fayette County.
